Overview

This course will give students an introduction to the principles used in non-structural Interior Decorating and Design principles. Interior Decorating and Design is the Art and Science of enhancing the interior of a building in order to achieve a healthier and more aesthetically pleasing environment for those engaging in the space. 

The skills acquired will equip students with the relevant entrepreneurial foundations in order to work in the industry, apply the decorating and design principles in a practical manner, plan and manage projects and start their own business in this exciting field should they choose. 

This course was developed by AIE in partnership with Greenside Design Center, leaders in the Interior Design industry.

• Graduates will be introduced to the field of Interior Decoration and Design Principles in one combined skills packed program.
• The programme integrates best practice software including AutoCAD and Autodesk Fusion which is viewed by industry as a critically advantageous skill. Training in this mentioned software could cost thousands of Rands if done independently.

  

• Creative and design tools by Adobe for graphic editing and presentation is based on industry leading software. Beneficial interior design tools such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe InDesign was added to further maximum employment success.

• Get access to the full software suites of Adobe (for 1 year) and Autodesk (for 1 years) with no limitations and restriction to any functionality, all included in the price.
