Cost and Management Accounting has been identified as one of most in demand positions within the financial sector both locally and internationally, the CIMA designation.
On successful completion of the programme, students gain the CIMA Qualification in Management Accounting and are awarded with the CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting. CIMA qualified specialists can use 'CIMA Dip MA' (the CIMA approved part-qualified designator letters) for official documents and on their business cards.
The CIMA Diploma in Management Accounting (Dip MA) is a qualification in its own right and also forms a formal entry route into the CIMA Professional Qualification.

If you hold a Master’s or MBA in Accounting, you can take the accelerated Master’s Gateway route to the CIMA Professional Qualification.

NOTE: The AIE may not grant exemptions to prospective students. Applications for exemptions must be directed to CIMA directly.
Articulation Options
- When you have completed all exams students can progress on to the CIMA Advanced Diploma in Management Accounting (CIMA ADV DIP MA)
