National Diploma: Office Administration NQF6 (Senior Administration)


This administration course is a great choice if you believe in the huge benefits of running any company in an organised way. The knowledge you gain in each successive qualification builds on the last, allowing you to take on key functions and increased responsibility in your workplace. 


As you work your way through the office administration course’s 12 subjects, you’ll move up from the Foundation Level through the Intermediate Level to the Advanced level – and achieve their associated NQF qualifications. 


*IMPORTANT NOTE: You can exit after completing any of the levels. To achieve your diploma, you have to complete all three levels. 


Part 1: Intermediate Level, Higher Certificate: Office Administration

The Intermediate Level will give you the skills to complete all the functions of a Secretary, General Office Manager, Human Resource Administrator and Labour Relations Administrator.  It will teach you office management techniques, human resource management, labour relations and economics.

    Full Time   

    • 12 months (10 Sessions/Week, 2 hours each, +- 2 ½ day/week, class times are between 08:30 & 16:00)  
    • All credits are achieved via your study duration at the institute plus certification exams.   


    *Sessions will be grouped together to lower cost of travelling, however, in some cases classes may not follow this convention and schedules are subject to change.   


    Online & Part Time    

    • Part Time = 12 months (2 x evening classes, 18:00 to 21:00, Mon & Wed OR Tues & Thur)   
    • Online = 12 months (Online live Q&A or structured classes, twice/week, 17:00 - 18:00, Mon & Wed OR Tues & Thurs)
