Overview

This qualification will equip you with knowledge and practical skills in bookkeeping, financial accounting, income tax, financial management, reporting standards, corporate strategy, management accounting and research. There are 2 levels in this study programme. Keep studying and you'll progress through the Intermediate Levels to the final Advanced Level to achieve your diploma. 

 

Learn how to use the popular SageOne accounting software as part of your qualification. 

This programme is accredited by ICB (Institute of Certified Bookkeepers) and FASSET SETA.

 

 

*IMPORTANT NOTE: You can exit after completing any of the levels on NQF3, 4, 5, & 6. To achieve your diploma, you have to complete all four levels.

 

Part 1: Upper Intermediate Level, National Diploma: Technical Financial Accounting


The Upper Intermediate Level will give you the skills to keep records of financial affairs of the business on a Senior level and also the knowledge to be a Junior or Assistant Accountant.

    Full Time   

    • 12 months (10 Sessions/Week, 2 hours each, +- 2 ½ day/week, class times are between 08:30 & 16:00)  
    • All credits are achieved via your study duration at the institute plus certification exams.   

       

    *Sessions will be grouped together to lower cost of traveling, however, in some cases classes may not follow this convention and schedules are subject to change.   

       

    Online & Part Time    

    • Part Time = 12 months (2 x evening classes, 18:00 to 21:00, Mon & Wed OR Tues & Thur)   
    • Online = 12 months (Online live Q&A or structured classes, twice/week, 17:00 - 18:00, Mon & Wed OR Tues & Thurs)   
    • Credits are obtained through a combination of live virtual classes, pre-recorded video lectures and project-based tasks.
